The Secret Identity Revealed
Well, I’ve gotten some response, so I guess writing this is not such a bad idea. Thanks to everyone that sent a comment—I appreciate the feedback. And thanks if you subscribed. I hope you enjoy!
One of the responses I got was from my husband. Did he like the blog? Hate it? Who knows! I will tell you I did get in trouble. For what you ask—what I said about him—nope. I got in trouble for not telling everyone who he was AND for not linking my blog to all his various business ventures. So, if you are interested in knowing more about the business side of Dr. Robin go to:

Okay—this is my one and only advertisement (because I really want to sleep in my bed tonight!). Just kidding. Don’t get me wrong, I think all these companies are great (at least from what I know about them—which is the subject of another blog—learning the business/products). If you want to know more about any of these opportunities you will have to contact my husband directly. As some of you have guessed, my husband is the famous (or infamous—I’m not sure which) Dr. Robin Rushlo aka The Blindguy. Yes, he is blind. 100 percent by legal definition—he can see some dark and light, however, a lower cupboard door left open usually results in his voice being up an octave or two if you know what I mean (and no, I don’t leave it open on purpose—usually). He is also a genius my definition. I always tell him that his blindness just puts him down there with the rest of us. He had a photographic memory when he could see. Luckily, I didn’t know him then so my secrets are safe!
You may also notice the number of sites. Another topic for a future blog will be MLMs and ADHD—a partnership made in heaven.
I wonder if any of you have ever been anywhere in public with your network marketer. Of course you have! Now, when you are married to a network marketer, one of the first lessons you learn is that social events are not off limits for recruiting. While this may be a fact of life, that doesn’t mean you ever quite get used to it. You know the feeling. You are standing there talking to a group of people. You don’t know each other well, so you know that sooner or later, the question is going to come. You know the question. The “so, what do you do?” question. Network marketers are taught very early on how to respond to that question. The “60 second commercial “or the “elevator speech”—you know, where you can tell someone about your entire business in the time it takes to go up one floor in an elevator. Anyway, you can almost see him drooling—leaning forward in great anticipation of THE question. We were at a party the other night. The 50th birthday party of a friend of mine from high school as a matter of fact. (Which I guess gives away my age—since I can’t change my age I never worry about it too much). Anyway, we were in a small group and the conversation was heading toward the inevitable. I was trying to discretely sneak off, but I wasn’t quite fast enough. First the question came. Then I saw the thing I really dread—the hand. The hand reaching into the pocket for—you guessed it—a business card. If could have snatched it out of his hand without anyone noticing, I would have done it. Here is a hint—if you are going to a social event hide the business cards. You can’t stop the talk (and the talk is not necessarily a bad thing), but at least it will be confined to conversation.
My husband couldn’t understand why I thought handing out business cards such a problem. Nuff said…
Since Robin and I have only known each other about four years and married almost three, people often ask me how we met. Tune in to the next blog for that story(and yes, it does relate to network marketing)!
Thanks for reading.
See you at the top!
Kathy
